Manic Monday of course

So here goes my story:
When I was in High School. my dream was to go to College at Cal-poly at San luis Obispo California. For two years I had decided that is what I wanted to do was go to college. Problem was I was 17 when I graduated so in order to gather funds I had to show my parents income. My dad didn't want anyone to know that information. So that meant I would have to wait until I turned 18 which would be the next school year and then I might qualify. So I hadn't got my butt in gear soon enough to have applied for grants and all that other good stuff one can get. Besides I was to interested in boys and not driven enough. So I ended up getting a local job, moving out with my Best Friend Missy, and then I met my X-husband was married to him for 17 years, had two kids and the most graphic arts I am into now is I make vinyl signs for race cars and business and what I fool around with on this computer. So there that was my graphic arts story. Have a good manic monday all you!!!

Could there be some regrests there? But at 17 how many of us do as we say/are told? This could also be the story about clouds & sliver linings. Thanks for sharing & Happy MM x

And all that because Papa wouldn't give income informations, that's really something. My son is graphic designer in a big English company and works in Amsterdam. He does publicity for Nike, Ferrari, Coca Cola. Each time I see such an add I can (proudly) think of him, lol and he had just slipped into that because his initial profession was photographer !
I had to laugh about your X husband ! Fortunately you didn't put an "s" I would have understooden that you had an uncountable amount of husbands, poor you !

There was a question on line a couple of days ago: What would you tell your 18 year old self?

Don't you wish it would be possible to say, "do this and everything will be no looking back changed forever"

The trip is usually worth it, but it is a long way from what you planned.

My dad is like that too, i had to force him to fill in my forms.

You could still do a course now, i am sure you have few miles left in you! :D

If your neck lets you :)

Don't give up! You can still go get your degree if the desire ever hits you. If your blog layout is any indication, you have a real knack for this area!

Never say never! Live with no regrets, even if only for the personal satisfaction, you can get a "do over" and go back to school.

But you got some absolutely fantastic kids out of the deal and an awfully darned cute grandson, too, so I'm sure that's entirely worth it!

Hope you are feeling somewhat better Callie Ann. It's no fun when you aren't able to do the things you want to. I hope you are being spoiled rotten.

I love life, it's always like that: we do plan and then life happens to come between... *s*

Well, luckily it looks like it turned out well in your case :-D

Thanks for stopping by and heartly welcome back!

(If I'm not back here by myself in short future, please be sure to drag me here by a comment on my blog - I'm a case of "Altzheimers light" (giggles) and tend to forget a lot)

Good Tuesday morning Callie Ann ! How are you feeling today ?

You could still go t college and just moonlight the graphic arts classes for fun if you wanted to.

The creativity you show on your site shows your ability already !

and yes, in response to the comment you left or me on my blog, there IS something wonderful about the smell of the trees in a national forest, isn't there !
