Triple Dog Dared by Skittles

So there comes a time in ones life where you tell a story. True as it is it is very comical to some people. I told Skittle's (Barb) this story and week's ago she double dog dared me to tell this story.

So I started going to weight watchers in February I think??? My mom also goes and Putter's mom Sharon goes. Well, my sweet mom bought us a bunch of tools to use on our weight loss adventure. Mom, also bought us a pedometer from Weight Watchers.
So when you put it on your suppose to snap it on your waist band so it can register your steps.
Well, anyway me and mom had been wearing them, one day after work I got in my car and drove home. When I got home, I checked the steps on my pedometer again. I looked at it, grabbed the phone called mom and said mom I walked 500 steps just be driving home. Well evidently when I am driving my fat jiggles the heck out of the meter and I get steps.
So I figure if I drive 3 miles x 500 steps I can get to the 10,000 steps a day by driving 60 miles. We had a real good laugh over that. So just remember if you have a layover in the fat area you may be getting more mileage than is actual. Any body got any other ideas where I could wear this???
Some how writing it out isn't near as funny as living it. hmm

YES! I always knew driving was a great weight loss tool. It helps also if you sip on a strawberry shake!!! :)

Great post, Callie. I hadn't thought about that before.

I'd only wear it when I was actually out walking - or running - or whatever you are doing to burn calories cardio wise...

10,000 steps translates into 800 calories for me -- and it is six miles...

Figure each day you probabaly burn maybe 1,000 calories just going about your day.

Keep on with the good work, Callie ! If you are taking off 1 -2 pounds a week, that is good !
