A Nana's Sunday Joy

I know all I have been blogging about lately is Jack Jack... It's been so nice getting to watch him in the evening lately. I hadn't got to watch him since last November because of my neck and I have missed him so much. He is truly the joy in my life. I love him so much. Words really cannot express the feelings I have for this little sweetheart.
I wash a bunch of his clothes for him and it was wonderful to get to fold his little darling clothes. I don't get to watch little Jack Jack tonight, because his Mommy is tired so he is staying home tonight. I will miss him. I am pretty sure I am emotional tonight because I have tons of tears rolling down my face. I love my baby Jack... Thank you Jessica for the greatest joy in my life.
I love you kid.

A sweet little boys laundry! Happy Happy Joy Joy

honey i understand this completely!!! the love you feel for a grandchild is so different from the love you feel for the child you had, i don't know how to describe it exactly, but it is lovely...

I've heard it said that if you knew how much fun it could be having a grandchild, you'd have skipped the kids and went straight to the grandkids. I'm glad that he's got such a great grandparent who wants to be involved in his live! Way to go super nanna!! :)

When my first grandchild was just learning to walk and she reached up to take hold of my hand, it completely overwhelmed me. I'll never forget that moment...the trust little ones have in us, to keep them safe, to protect them, to guide them and love them. It's such a different feeling with the grandchildren. I can't begin to explain it, either. But it's precious...
