Jack's Operation

Little Jack went this A.M. and got tubes in his ears. Hopefully this will help with all the terrible ear infections he has been getting.

This morning at 6:30 am I picked up Jessica. We took Brighton's to my mom's so she could watch her. Then we zoomed to the hospital. Check in was at 7:00 am. Jack Jack was in an excellent mood. He got a bracelet on his arm... Then him and Jess went down to the surgery place and Jess said "Jack was exploring and running everywhere". The nurses said "usually the little ones are shy and stay in their area".

Not our Jack, He loves to say Hi and visit with everyone. He loves to explore things and see how they work.. So finally the nurses decided to give him a little something to calm him down... Ha Ha Ha the only place you can drug a kid and not go to Jail.. LOL. I just think that is kind of funny ya know. Well, they gave Jack Gas instead of an I.V. They said the I.V. is to traumatizing for the little ones.

Zoom Zoom off to the operating room... Jack said "bye MOM".
Well, they gave Jack Gas instead of an I.V. They said the I.V. is to traumatizing for the little ones.

Jess came up to sit with me. The operation lasted about 15 mins, then Jack was in recovery. Jess said they would call her when he started to wake up. They said when they start to move it takes about 15 mins before they are really awake so they figured they could call Jess and have her come down. Not Jack it was 5 mins......................Well, when Jess went down in the elevator and it opened up Jess heard screaming and she knew exactly who's scream it was...It was Jack Jack going hysterical... Poor Baby..

Jess said "every time Jack would scream and cry then the other kids would scream and cry. Then when he would quiet down so would the other kids... Jack was the ring leader.."

Well, hopefully our Jack will be well in a few days and hopefully no more ear infections..

Okay, I got a visual of him leading all the other kids in the screamfest. Glad all went well. Have a great day sweetie. :)

Only 15 minutes? Dang, that's a quick operation! I hope Jack Jack is back to his old self soon and that this operation clears up all those nasty ear infections!

Poor little guy. Don't worry nana he will be just fine. My nephew Drew had the same surgery and he is doing great now. No infections or problems of any kind. Keep spoiling them Callie!

Poor little guy. It is funny that they drugged him to calm him down before the surgery though. :)

My guess is he's a spunky lil' guy, kinda like his Nana.

Tyler had the same procedure. He was a mess afterward. But, thankfully it helped in the end. They lasted about a year, maybe we won't have to get them again.

Here's to hoping Jack Jack does well and he has zero infections! :)
