Sad and Please be respectful

See this bale wagon. This is like the ones we have. Well, an empty log truck decided to pass a 16 year old kid in one of these while the log truck was doing 65 down a country road on a turn... Hmm as this young man was making a left hand turn into a field to pick up bale's. His brother Matt 21 witnessed his brother being cremated by the log truck. See where the driver sits, can you imagine the chance this child had against that log truck... NONE.

Our Company hasn't had any accidents because my boss yells and screams at the kids about safety constantly so we haven't had any troubles. Other companies have had several other accidents in the Valley some being the fault of operator in the Tractors. An impatient Harley Motorcycle Rider Decided to pass a Caravan of three tractors. The first tractor was pulling a rake, which has a ton of pointed sharp objects on the bottom of it. Well, the Harley was passing at an intersection. Where you stop.. as the tractor stopped and was turning left the Harley took a detour right under the rake. The man is now in critical condition in Portland. Boy, That sure didn't get him to where he was going. did it?

Every year in the Willamette Valley in Oregon we have tons of farming going on. Well, Drivers are so disrespectful, they flip off our tractor drivers which are usually young kids making money for the summer. They curse at them, making dangerous driving conditions. Just remember if you come upon a piece of farm equipment in your travels. Don't be such an Ass. Remember Farmers Feed the World. Give them a Break. We can only go as fast as the Tractors let us. As far as we know there are no other ways to get to fields besides driving there. Think Peeps Think

We live in ag country here too and you just have to watch out for farm equipment. You also need not be so impatient. They can only go so fast. It's a shame about the kid. That's so very, very sad. Big hug honey. :)

those a-hole drivers should have to go out and work the bales of hay... hard work (yeah, I've done it -- I did tobacco too, and trust me, I'd rather do the hay!)

Yep, my hubman put himself through college by baling hay and chopping cotton. Hard work. I'm so sorry about the young man - think of his family....
My first hubman and his dad owned and operated oil trucks and tractors. We had a couple of really bad wrecks. One of our drivers dove into a lake and they've have never found his body. Everytime I drive by this lake I think of "Deliverance" and see a hand sticking up out of the water.
And why am I getting so cheery?
Sorry...
~~~Blessings~~~
What a horrible thing for his brother to have witnessed; that poor guy is probably going to be messed up for life and that's just so sad about his brother. Tragic.
