Someone Say Rain?

Yep, it is coming to the Northwest... 80% chance that Fall will be here on Thursday..... Hmm it's time to bake cookies, make crock pot meals, enjoy the smells of rain, watch all the shows I have DVR'd and need to watch... Yes, and scrapbook and make cards and wear warmer pajamas and have the grandkiddles over for a night, read Jack Jack a story, light candles that smell of good things cooking and try chaomile tea to try and sleep...

ACK!!! I just realized christmas is like 85 days away.. oh now... panic has set in... what in the world am I going to do for presents????.. hmm make something? No, I waited to long like usual... Order things from Mo's shop.. well that is always a good option. Gee I see I don't have his store posted on my side board.. what a lousy friend I am.. Dang.. sorry mo :(.... Mo please send me the link again please...

Anyone else wondering what this country of ours is going to do next? Who will the next President be? What will he do? How will they deal with this giant above normal debt and the failing of so many financial institutions.... Problems all around us... Heck I am wondering how people are surviving with all the lay off's. This country of ours becoming a service nation instead of a producing nation... Now that scares me more than anything. I must tell you. Being in the farming industry... Man is it a scary place to be right now. So many crazy things happening... well enough of that. Did you know fertilizer cost's are up over 800 % compared to a couple years ago. Guess I will find the answers out sooner than later.. gonna end this ramble now. Have a great Wednesday.

It's been raining here on and off for last 24 hours. It brought the cold front, too. It's just in the 50s today :o(

Rain, rain, rain! I can't wait! I love the smell in the air and seeing clear skies - yes, even in the rain because it takes all of the valley crap out. Lots of hot coffee and a little Baileys. Oh well, maybe a little coffee and a lot of Baileys!
Fresh baked rolls and chili beans!
I love cold weather...

The other day the organic carrots were cheaper than the regular ones at the store. I wonder if fertilizer has anything to do with that.

Anyway, I hope things calm down for everybody. Things are scary all around.

I like to bake cookies for presents but I really shouldn't because I end up eating almost as many as I give away.

We had more rain last night, then it's been cloudy and threatening rain all day today...
Thanks for mentioning my shop - the link is www.WrenShop.com ~ just posted about some new products & new markdowns over at It's A Blog Eat Blog World.
5 LESS days of shopping this year, between Thanksgiving and Christmas, compared to last year. How many retailers are gonna use that as an excuse this year for crappy sales?
(Hey, why am I raising my hand?!?)

Love ya,
