Jack may win someday.

This is a picture of Jack before his first operation to have ear tubes put in his ears in March. Since then our little boy has had 3 tube operations. None successful. He has had 8 days since then were he didn't have an ear infection.

Well, after much work from his Mom, he now has a new specialist. He saw the doctor today and the doctor gave Jack a hearing test and determined that his hearing was fine at this point, just constantly muffled from the infection. The doctor is concerned about Bone infection because he has had the infection for so long. We have purchased lots and lots of medication for this child and the last doctor accused Jack's Mom of not following through... Ask Jack he hates his medicine but it is faithfully administered everyday as prescribed. Well, finally a break through, the new doctor will be taking Jack's adenoids out on October 22, 2008. Thank goodness some one is finally doing something to help this grandchild of mine. This baby has had over 13 ear infections and one continuous one since January... Enough is Enough I hope this time Jack is the winner when this is over. I love this child with all my heart.

ohhh, poor little guy! I've only ever had one ear infection that I know of and that was a few years ago. The pain was horrible, I couldn't imagine the pain all these poor kids go through who get them over and over, especially to have one for so long! The poor little guy must be miserable all the time from the pain, I know I would be!

I sure hope the surgery and the new doctor both make a big difference so he doesn't have to continue to suffer!

That sweet little boy deserves to be well! I am so glad that Jessica found a better doctor and he is willing to step up and get him well!!!

My thoughts and prayers are with you all, CallieAnn. He's too sweet to be sick. :)

Finally! Some good news! Here's hoping that taking out Jack-Jack's adenoids will make all the difference in the world and the poor little guy can stop with the ear infections. I'm sure he'd be more than happy to no longer be taking that medicine!

I'm glad he's on his way to get better. I would have switched doctors long time ago ;o)
Have a wonderful weekend!

Thank God. This poor little guy-he'll get better Cal. I'm glad he's got new doctors now. And I'm also glad that his hearing is not damaged-that's great news.

Keep us updated. Love you!

He's absolutely adorable! And wow, all these ear infections, he's lucky not to have any permanent hearing loss. I hope this all gets resolved soon.

I hope it all works out. My niece had the same problem. It's just awful to see little ones in so much pain.

I am so happy there's no damage to his hearing!!! We've learned from experience, that you've got to stay on top of your own medical care. I'm glad Jessica got fed up and found someone who obviously cares about his patients!!! Give Jack a hug from me and we'll be praying that this will work!
~~~Blessings~~~
Thank goodness there doesn't seem to be any permanent hearing loss on the little cutie!
Hope the adenoid surgery does the trick!
Would be great for him to feel better so he can give his cutie pie grandma a big hug with no hurts!
Oh....poor thing. I hope the adenoid procedure works. I had to have mine out when I was 13.
He is in my thoughts.
