I am sick of the cold and this is my 1000th post... Party on...
This is a picture of the American River taken about 10 miles down a long windy rode from where I grew up in Pollock Pines California.. I am sick of being cold... give me the warm weather for a bit... Happy 1000th post to me!!!!!
Happy Thousand Callie! That was a great trip down that road! Wish we were standing there now on a warm October day... I would send you some warm, but it is only in the 40's here; but that is probably warm to you the last couple of weeks! Happy Day, Shann

Ah, Pollock Pines and the American River, I remember them fondly.
Happy 1,000th post, girlfriend, and I'm tired of being cold myself, too, but it's only the 2nd day of winter! AUGH!
Wow, my roommate in college grew up in Pollock Pines too... and from what I remember her saying, it's not a very big community. :)
