What?

Good Morning Sunday

So who is watching the Super Bowl?

I will, but I am going to go watch the grandkids first. Jessica is going Grocery Shopping and for some reason her and Mike can't have kids with them when they shop.. Interesting.. my husband never helped me to shop. I took both kids shopping with me and got'er done.. I am not understanding this new generation of Mother's.. They can't seem to handle what we use to do. Amazes me. My mom used to have to bring 5 kids shopping with her, cause she babysat other children. Any of you out there seeing this trend?

So that is about it so far for today. Ya'll have a good one.

Blissfully football free!
Picked up Bessie when she got off work, we went for a drive since it was sunny - ended up at Barnes & Noble (she bought lots of books, I restrained myself and left empty handed - okay, I admit, the book I wanted was sold out...), then we went for a lovely dinner at Olive Garden. All without football!

No football for me... I worked in iMovie while it was on, made tuna cassarole and banana nut bread... Who one? I haven't even looked at the news on here yet...

I have noticed this new generation and I don't get it... I took my kids everywhere and some of my favorite memories are of Chelsea at the grocery store... Cody used to talk to everyone and I had a hell of a time making it through the store because he would stop and talk to the old timers and they would get talking and I had to be polite! They would rant how sweet he was and it paid off for all the hard feelings of the jelly on the walls at home! Kids! This new generation is going to miss out! Poor them!

We watched the game, it was pretty awesome!
We go shopping as a family all the time, kids and all. The stores around here actually make it easier. They've got carts you can rent for a dollar that look like little cars, and they've got tv shows that play on a little screen inside, to keep the kids occupied. The only down side is that there's not as much room in them for groceries. Or, when the kids get bigger, they've got regular carts with a bench seat attached so they can sit together in there, and you've still got a whole cart for groceries. What's the big deal??
