OH WHY

Answer this why is it whenever your going to go somewhere, like leave town, life turns into a damned whirl wind? All of a sudden there is one hundred and seventeen things to do. I don't get it. On normal days stuff is busy but, it doesn't flow so catyywhompas. It's catyywhompas around here today.. Tonight I have a business meeting, I have to get some bookkeeping done, call the pharmacy and make sure I have enough junk to keep me alive for a week.. Then there is a 40th Birthday Party tomorrow night for Jeff. Then I get a call today from my 5 hour a week job saying they need help.. Holy Crap!!!! I still gotta do laundry,I still gotta pack, make sure there is dog food for everyone. Then right in the middle of all this I decide I need to clean my car... Why??? It ain't going anywhere. I don't understand.. maybe it's a thing where if you ended up dead you wouldn't want (god forbid) anyone to see your car a mess.. what the hell is that about?

Anyway I am going to Visit my Grandpa. Seems he thinks the house he lives in now ain't his. Never has been and why in the hell does Grandma have a key to this house? And what man's clothes are those hanging in the damned closet? The deed is in his name and all but he just looks at it......

Then my Gramps has been a pack rat for 92 years.. I think he saved everything and anything he ever found.. Need a 6 foot ladder? Gramps has at least 7 of them.. Name something else. I am sure it's there..... Microwave? Etc.. hula Hawaiian girls hanging around the Garage.. Screws anyone??? Need a Hammer??? So in one of Gramps delusional modes he says to my mom. Why is there so much crap at this house? These people that live here have crap everywhere. My Mom burst into laughter, Gramps just looked at her like she was crazy.........

So I am off to California to visit my grandparents and take care of this and that... blah blah blah... I am going to have an interesting week, I assure you of that!!!

Yep, this all sounds right. See what you have to look forward to in another 50 years? My dad did the same thing. It was quite.

Are you in the Sac area? I think that's where you are going to be. You are here all next week? Just asking.

Have a good trip. Big hug. :)

Oh girl! I think I know a bit how you're feeling! I take meds for that! Poor baby. I wish you could sleep. That's got to be driving you nuts! Your brain needs a vacation at night and if it doesn't get it, it's just downright snotty the next day...
Seriously, I hope you have a good trip, although it doesn't sound as if you'll be doing any relaxing!
~~~Blessings~~~
Your story about your Grandpa made me crack up! Sorry! The way you wrote it-- I could just picture your Grandpa's incredulous face, about the peope having crap everywhere, and your mom laughing. Oh, man!
Well, have a safe and happy trip. It sounds like fun, even though the prep is obviously stressful. I've never seen California, so I'm so jealous!
