Caregivers of the Alzheimer Victims..

This is what worry's me. My mom is taking care of three Alzheimer victims... both her parents and my dad... I keep telling her she needs a support group. Help!!! I tell her!! She is stubborn... I worry that the stress is killing her... She is A Brat!! anyway if you have family helping someone in your family with Alzheimer... be aware it is a huge job... Like the guy said your basically growing old backwards right into the hands of a diaper and drooling. Basically a Big Baby and there ain't nothing you can do about it currently... but reach out and support people...

not yet can hospice help... they have to get worse before they will step in to help. Grandpa is severe, we found him wandering around in the Chicken house at 5 am the other morning.... Grandma and my dad can still handle theirselves... just their decision making is horrid!

Hugs, Callie. Is there a volunteer group over there that makes house calls. I know she feels so overwhelmed band not able to leave the house and her loved ones. Maybe having someone come over just to give her some respite might be good.

It's not a job one person can do alone.

Will say a prayer for her.
