It's Started

In case any of you wondered what I do in the summer this is it. I do a ton of stuff. Including my normal job. But this is some of the equipment we use.

We are in the thick of Hay season now. Above is the 3 tie bale system we use. We have 6 in the fields. Then below that is the Automated bale wagon we use. Then we have things called fluffers and after we cut the hay down it flips it to get the moisture out as it bakes in the sun. Then we come along with the rakes and that rakes it into rows then the baler above comes by and bales the hay and then below we put it in the wagons put 48 bales of hay in a big stack then you come along with a giant forklift called a squeeze and it loads it on the trucks and off it goes.
Below is a Hay Squeeze, Road Runner, Sunny D brand. All those names

Oh, I think that thing in the last picture is what I needed to help me stand up when I knelt down for a customer and my knee locked up.
Yep, I think my ass would fit in there....

Have a great Friday, Sweetie!

Mo cracked me up.

When I was a kid living on the farm we used to get 110 pound bales of alfalfa. The bales sure are big now. Yikes. Big business compared to way back then. Have a great day and weekend sweetie. Big hug. :)

If I hear one more piece of heavy equipment backing up I am going to scream! They're finishing up behind us and just when I thought they were through with the section directly behind us, I heard "beep, beep, beep," etc. ARGHHHH!!! They're not baling hay but my allergies don't know that, and the dirt that gets blown up is probably full of the spores that cause Valley Fever!
Boy, am I Little Mary Sunshine or what?
