This is annoying.. :(

My lovely (so not) HP Photosmart 8250... well, the dang ink cartridges blew up... the thing was running a diagnostic test... then it alerted to me something about using... expired ink... such and such of colors.. I open the top and I found the light blue had squirted all over...dripping down on to the base... then I look in my supplies, I find the light magneta.. hmm I open it. Well it had blown up in the package... gads.. baby wipes cleaned up all the mess just fine.. but Ah.. not my hands... I wasn't even coloring easter eggs.. dumb thing. Guess I am going to go buy ink cartridges tomorrow.. I hope that is all that is wrong with this silly thing.. At least now my Hands match my dress Putter had bought me in Mexico... A tie dyed dress.. Geez!!

At least I can look at my hands and know what colors I need... Ha!

Oh wow, I never realized that those things could explode like that! I'm worried now...hehe!

By the way, I decided to visit after Linda and Mags had such awesome things to say about you on their respective blogs.

Did I say nice things about you? Seriously? I must have been delusional at the time! ;-)

ick, what a mess! I use that kind of ink for my printer(mine's a Photosmart 3210 or 3200 or something like that...no, I'm not getting off my ass to go and look), never had a problem with them before though. Looks like mine comes in different packing though, is that a foil pack that it was in? Mine come in a clear plastic pack with a paper backing.

Nothing like keeping your shopping list handy... sorry, couldn't resist.

I've never known a cartridge to blow up. Bummer. Hope the damage is minimal.

HP sucks. How could one company go from being superior to all others to being the biggest waste of money? The customer service is great, which it would have to be because their products suck. Oh, wait, I said that already.

I have an HP multi-cartridge printer, too = I HATE it when they tell me the ink is expired, instead of just printing my damn project.
I mean, what the hell are they making their ink out of anyway? Milk?
Like ink is gonna expire!
Thank the gods mine hasn't (knock wood) exploded like yours did...
Gads.
