Trader Joe's & The Rock Garden

Spent the day with my Mom. We went to Eugene and stopped by Trader Joe's... Got me some 2Buck Chuck Wine.. that costs 3 bucks in Oregon. hmm.. good stuff for cheap.. Then bought some Macadamia/Cranberry Cookies.. they are good actually...
We also went to the mall. We were walking by one shop and you could smell incense burning.. My mom said and I Quote "smells like dope".. I said "Mother.. that isn't dope it's incense.." I Said "Besides dope is White Drugs not Mary Ja wanna." Oh she said "well it stinks, you can put that on your blog" she said.. What a nut she is.. bwahahahahah... Also she informed me today that all the hippie's moved to Eugene when San Francisco had the earth quake in 1989... I said " how do you know this?" She Said, "I read it somewhere, after the freeways feel apart they made a mass exudus to Eugene." Interesting...

Then my son called the Rock Crawler Builder. Wanted us to go by Sky Manufacturing and pick up parts... He says "on the right side of the road you will see a Rock Garden and that is where you go"... Okay, so we get there it's on the left side of the road and here is a picture of the Rock Garden... Hmmf.. I thought.. What a mess this joint was inside.. metal everywhere, packing supplies everywhere... mess pushed up against the walls. America Made they say.. But, What a dark, dingy, messy place.. We are in the Quality business we don't worry about the mess they said.. When I walked in I had no idea what door to use or where to even go.. Finally I saw a guy talking on a phone.. it was scary.. If I didn't know car parts I would have thought I was in a creepy place... it smelled of welding.. I know that smell for certain.. I said "you have parts for Justin Smith..." he said "we do?.." he called another guy on the phone.. They had no idea who Justin Smith was.. So I thought "Pinky"... well they knew who the hell that was.. "Oh Pinky, yes we have stuff for him.." Bwahahahaha That kid of mine is something.

Oh What A Monday!

Got up late
Had to take the Dogs for their Beauty Date
Went to work, I was not amused
For Little Hitler was there to impress
I was not thrilled with his rant,
it drove me nuts, to be exact.

It's Monday good gosh, go away Little Hitler
I have many things to do. I don't want to hear you.
My brain was now scattered, he turns my brain into Mush
Insisting he has told me things when he has not

He is more like a grinch at time's, telling me lies
He is a little Vial Man, totally reminding me of one from my past.

What to do with this crap, it's not easy
I know I should quit, but I can't
Out of some strange loyalty that is totally ridiculous.
Is Money worth this Junk, why unfortunately yes

But, what will happen to my brain
Just keep blogging the stress away
I am unsure of this nut job
but hell as someone says to me a lot
Life Goes On........ and on... and on...

Good way to end a crappy day..

But, I am home now and happy.
I got a life away from work....
The stress is lifted until Tuesday
but alas tomorrow he is gone..
Oh happy Tuesday...
I will work until 10:30 and
then off to shopping with my MOM..
I can handle that.....
I will be good and not buy anything.
It's just the time with Mom that will
Make my day...

Patriotic Parents

My Dad and Mom from Arizona at the flag raising ceremony, representing Coast Guard on Veterans Day 11-11-08 at 11:00AM in honor of vets past and present serving our country. End of WW 1 Armistice Signed 1918, thus we celebrate vet's day. This is at our local Main Large Park in Kingman, Arizona. My Parents involve themselves in Coast Guard activities such as patrols of river and lakes , educational fair, county fair, parades, boat inspections ect. all year long. Just another way to give back and keep them on the go.
I asked Mom what this pic was about so she wrote back the above.. I just changed a few words. They are the middle two. I am proud of them!!!

Just messing around down at the Willamette River. Oregon Ducks being referred by the Geese... Boy those Geese really can yell! Then that is the Ellsworth bridge that runs right in Albany. Then the other is The Oregon Sky today for the Friday Sky Deal.

True Story

A curious fellow died one day and found himself waiting in the longline of judgment.

As he stood there he noticed that some souls were allowed to march right through the pearly gates into heaven. Others, though, were led over to Satan who threw them into the burning pit. But every so often,instead of hurling a poor soul into the fire, Satan would toss a souloff to one side into a small pile. After watching Satan do this several times, the fellow's curiosity got the best of him. So he strolled over and asked Satan what he was doing.

"Excuse me, Prince of Darkness," he said. "I'm waiting in line for judgment, but I couldn't help wondering, why are you tossing those people aside instead of flinging them into the fires of hell with the others?" "Ah, those..." Satan said with a groan. "They're all from Oregon's Willamette Valley, they're too wet to burn."

This was sent to me by some friends from Colorado... I thought it was hysterical since I am from the Willamette Valley.. Bwahahahahahaha
