it's your father, no that is bee's father.... No it is Jack's father.... @-@

So I am going to take a risk here and ask what would you do. So a four year old boy goes to his father's for the weekends and is told your a man you don't wear clothes to bed.  My opinion is yes, he is a boy and he should wear pajamas. Jack has recently been complaining about going to his dads. He has been screaming arms and legs flying saying he doesn't want to go with his father. He Does that behavior when his dad shows up to get him. I as Nana am totally not sure what to do about this... there are more issues. To me they are all right and wrong type things. I don't want Jack being raised by some mountain man that crawled out of a dream. So answer if you please Thanks Callie

Oh wow, first off, boys wear pajamas.

I'd be curious to see what happens at Dad's. Doesn't sound like it's a good thing.

Does dad really want his son to visit? I don't know what to do other than get to the bottom of the reason why your grandson doesn't want to visit.

That really bothers me...

Trust your instincts. Try to have a conversation in which you learn all the things that happens at Dad's. Are these court mandated visits? If not, stop them immediately. I have a friend with a son who refused to go to his father's because he was treated so poorly. Turned out the father didn't want him there, just about locked him in an upstairs bedroom so he wouldn't interfere with the "new family". Protect your grandson. Odds are he's trying to tell you something.

I'm with them. Kids go through stages of being pills, but this sounds like much worse. Is there a step mom or girlfriend who might resent him? I've been seeing these horrible ads from Dr. Phil's show for a show coming up that shows a mom abusing her son. Makes my blood boil! I'd talk to Jack and ask all kinds of questions, but in a light-hearted tone so he's not scared to answer...Prayers for Jack!!!

I have been trying to talk to him, but it's tricky cause I don't want to put anything in his head. Ya know. So the only thing I can come up with right now... is the no pajama thing... too weird I will keep working with this and let you guys know how things are.
