Peanut, Flooding and Granny

So yeah I am suppose to be updating this site, my blog... LOL, I am doing so good at it. Don't ya think? Don't come here if you are looking for Grammar... it doesn't exist here! ha ha

Anyway. Granny is still chugging along. She keeps having strokes. She is in the bed almost all the time now.. Get's in the wheel chair a few minutes every day...

Well, I live in Oregon and we are having this gigantic flooding again. It is terrible... We have lost 2 lives so far that I am aware of and some homes.. I don't remember it raining so hard, so much, for just a few days causing all this mess. Washington State is in a freeze.. I have a friend that just moved there...what a welcome she got.

This picture was taken by Pamela Hayes... it has been passed all around Facebook today.. I have no idea whom she is but I would like to personally thank her for this picture. She has taken many that express the tragedy unfolding...

Oh and by the way My Family Dog Peanut passed away on Jan 16, 2012. She passed from complications from Diabetes and overall a dislike for feeling like shit and having to wear diapers and get stuck with needles... it was degrading to her.. Seriously she was so unhappy... I love you my little "Woo Woo" girl. Her most favorite person in the whole world.. my son "Pinky"... "I am sorry your dog passed son".
Peanut is the silver one... Ozzie is the black...he is now 3... When Peanut lost her mom she needed a companion so that is when Ozzie came into the home... I must say Ozzie is so sad about losing Peanut... But, I just can't get another little one right now. So that is life today! :)

Yikes! That's crazy! Isn't it supposed to be snowing now? We usually get that kind of weather in the spring...fortunately not too often massive flooding like that in the city, usually elsewhere in the province. Last time it flooded like that here we were living in Texas so got to avoid it.

Sorry about your doggie :(.

As far as the flooding I can totally sympathize. Our area just experienced record breaking flooding back in September thanks to a stalled Hurricane/Tropical Storm Lee. We broke the 1972 record from Agnes. It was and continues to be devastating for so many towns in my state along the Susquehanna River. I will pray for Oregon. Remember, the victims will need cleaning supplies! Its the best thing you can do to help them.

I am sorry for your loss. Peanut was such a cutie! I am glad to know she is not suffering anymore.

Praying for Granny. How is your Dad?

Where there is drought in one area, there is flooding in another. So sorry for the loss of your sweet Peanut...and all the upheaval in your life. It will get better.

Big hugs, honey...
